Implementing a consistently good email marketing strategy in your business will help you to grow faster and simplify your follow up processes.  It is s critical component of your overall online marketing strategy because your email list is the only element from the entire package that you actually own.

In this three hour workshop Tatum will be walking you through all the components that make up a successful email marketing system.  The workshops are in a small group setting so you will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get feedback about your business specifically.  Feel free to bring your laptop along so that you can put theory in to practice right away.

Why you need a list

Whether you are a product or service based business, either online or bricks and mortar, you should be building a database of clients and potential clients AND communicating with them regularly.  Even if you have nothing of your own to sell right now building your list significantly improves your potential earning power.

Even if you don’t yet have a website you can get started on building your list right away.

List building tactics (overview)

How do you actually get people to sign up to your list?  Together we’ll walk through the different types of offers you can make to attract the right people onto your list.  We’ll cover the best approaches for different industries and how to stand out from the crowd in the noisy online environment.

Landing pages

You may or may not have heard of a landing page.  In essence they are an online entry point to your business where you might want to provide people with some specific information and give them a clear call to action.

Welcome sequences

A welcome sequence is a series of emails that you send after someone signs up for your mailing list.  This sequence is designed to give people a bit more information about you and a bit more value, intending on moving them further along the path from lead to becoming a client or customer.  We’ll spend some time planning out how many emails you need in your sequence and what kind of story they need to tell.

Nurturing your list – email content strategy

It’s all well and good to build this list but chances are you are unsure about what you should be sending them.  This will be covered in detail in the workshop, you’ll leave with enough ideas to keep you going for at least four months.

Making offers (when & how)

Have you ever heard the saying ‘the money is in the list’, what this means is that you are much more likely to find new clients and customers on your email list than floating randomly around on the internet.  Consequently you need to be prepared to confidently make offers to work with you or buy your products.  This workshop will provide you with the framework to make those offers without feeling like you are annoying people.
